jacksonstorm: I have never put pics in an ad but would like to try. They are set up n my email to send if requested. Where do I find the simple instructions you refer to. I admit I have looked with no luck.

BogeysBGone: Jaime - no really. She's been a great golf wife. She's always encouraged it as a business tool. But over the past 2 years I've had a job where I don't have business development responsibilities - and was injured - so I didn't play very much.

BogeysBGone: But we're still paying dues. LOL

BogeysBGone: I like those Chrome Softs Hax particularly the Tru Viz...the ones that look like soccer balls. The markings actually help.

hax: Yes, they do. I have also found that Callaway golf balls handle the wind better than any other ball. It is almost always blowing 10-20 mph here...so it's always moving.

BogeysBGone: It's the hexagonal dimples maybe and their pattern?
Mar 18, 2019 15:33:53 GMT -7
nrjyzr: Robb, on the chance you see this... it appears it *is* a result of the hex dimples. In the early days, many Senior Tour guys chose to play the callaway companion CTU balls, because the HX balls were too straight for their taste

glacier: Perhaps you missed the part where Dave wanted to go back to 1957.
Mar 20, 2019 10:39:17 GMT -7
hax: 1957 would be AWESOME
Mar 20, 2019 15:07:45 GMT -7
hax: Back to golf balls..yes, I rememberer that Ed about the Hex dimples causing the ball to fly 'to straight' as well as cut the wind better. It seems to work in the wind down here.

hax: Seriously...1957...mail order surplus guns, 57 Chevy, machine guns were dirty cheap, I could only imagine buying property where I live now and holding onto it, definitely a great time to have been alive.

Whatever: '57 was great. Best year of my life. Only year of my life at the time, actually.

mikeja: Graduated from high school in 1957. My Dad had a '56 Chevy, his first new car. So many wonderful memories.

CharlieD6: I never heard of anyone (except maybe the cops) having machine gun in 1957. Yes, you could order surplus military rifles from a catalog, but they were usually some weird caliber and were nearly always bolt action rifles made pre-WWII.
