Did ya ever think that today's result would happen??? Not sure if I'm relieved or emboldened - but certainly happy.
He hung tough today and I found myself kinda rooting for him against Molinaro. Thanks to 4 guys putting their ball in the water late he was able to prevail even though Koepka's birdie putt would have created a playoff. All in all, I was glad I got to see the win even though I had to put up with Nantz's butt kissing again. Like when he said, if we didn't shed a tear when Tiger hugged his son we were not human. What an asshat.
CBS sure skipped a lot of other golf today with the Tiger show. Rarely did we see others play Amen Corner.
I would like to think that Woods would have made that par put on 18th hole had Koepka made his, Woods deal with pressure pretty well...Koepka sure had plenty of chances and so did a lot of other players. In golf there is no coulda woulda shoulda's….Koepka will be a force to be reconded with in the future though.
golfmonkey: First login. I learned alot on the GEA in the last 20 years and its good to see that the forum has survived. Also great to see that many of the great beasts that led the herd have survived the migration.
